My Mother’s Day Gift Guide 2019

Recently, I had a little nosey at my audience and demographics and noticed I actually have more male, rather than female followers on my instagram and blog. So I decided to reach out and ask what it is my readers want more of and the response was overwhelmingly in favour of gift guides. As you guys know, I love supporting small businesses, so here is my guide to getting Mother’s Day right this year with the help of some small businesses.

  1. Norah Brownies

They are award-winning, hand-made gourmet brownies that are naturally free from gluten, dairy and refined sugar. Also, if your mum is a vegan they also have vegan options.  I recently tried out the Valentine’s Collection (picture above, on the left) they were so yummy. I highly recommend this company. I also love the fact that they have a gin and tonic brownie and prosecco ones so really check out the website for the perfect fit for your mum.

2. Original Duck Head Umbrella

Because if you’re living in the UK, every mother needs an umbrella! I’ve been trying out my new iconic duckhead umbrella and it really is worth the pennies. The handle is hand painted and the quality is superb. The frame is made of high grade steel, aluminium and fibre glass so you don’t get caught short by the wind. In fact, so confident are the company that they offer a 12 month faulty workmanship warranty on all of their products. They retail at £24 but it’s so easy to see why.

3. Creighton’s Chocolaterie

You’re certainly going to get kisses from mum for getting her this chocolate! It’s to die for!

They use bold and bright packaging and are handcrafted by an all female team. The ruby chocolate “kiss me quick” is my personal favourite. This bar is made in collaboration with another amazing company, Meringue Girls – they actually put heaven in a bar!

4.  Luna and Luci

Now this is one you may of already seen on my blog. I was kindly gifted a different style and I loved the look and quality that much that I actually got my Nan and my mother and future mother-in-law a pair of these cute slippers for christmas. The feedback from them has been nothing but positive.

They all loved the ballerina style but check out the website because they have lots of different styles that might suit your mum more. check them out

5. Holder + Hook

I was gifted this shine bright keyring from my goodybag at a launch event recently and I loved it that much it made my blog. The quality is perfectly crafted, you can tell a lot of love has been put into this. They have bespoke children’s handwriting key rings as well. This is such a unique keepsake for mums and grandparents.

I’m definitely going to get one done like this, it’s absolutely beautiful.

I hope this list has given you some ideas for that perfect treat for your mum this Mother’s Day – it goes without saying that all of these companies are BG Approved!
